Too Faced recently added a new product to their famous “Born This Way” series and I am very excited! After foundation and concealer, we were surprised by the latest Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder.
The texture is lovely. It is light and soft and feels light on the skin. I find that it makes the skin smooth and perfect without adding any texture to the skin.
The powder is a very finely ground product with a little yellow undertone. I don’t actually mind this because I think it looks very flat on the skin, provided that the yellow tone is not too strong and the powder tone is too warm.
Even after more than 8 hours of wear, this powder still makes my makeup look flawless. This will never look cakey or heavy, it is easy to spread on the face. The powder gives off a very natural look and adds to the effect of my makeup.
Setting Powder is packed in a cute pink cardboard box with a typical Too Faced design, which is used in all their “Born This Way” products. The actual powder itself is contained in the most girlish, fancy and delicate jar ever, and it has a very luxurious and heavy feel to it. The shape of the powder dispenser is like a heart, with a little extra touch that only Too Faced would think of. Needless to say, I am in love with this packaging.
If you are looking for more expensive high-end products to set your makeup, I totally recommend this powder.
